Comin & Goin first came together in September 1996 as a result of various art projects organized in Austrian Tyrol, with Alex Mayer Bernhard Kowatsch, Klaus Falschlunger, Bernhard Noriller and Thomas Zwerger.
A complete concert programme - made up mainly of their own compositions - was quickly prepared and numerous concerts held. In autum 1997 Thomas Zwerger moved to Berlin.
After Thomas Zwergers move to Berlin, the young saxaphonist Andreas Hackl joined the group (till he unfortunenately died in August 2001), and Goesta Muellers stick bass was also a fine addition to the Comin & Goin sound.
In September 2001 Paul Heis became the new Saxophonist of Comin & Goin.
In autumn 2002 Goesta Mueller went to Bangkok to work as a orchestra conducter and therefore Gerald Rumpold joined the band.
In August 2003 there came a second percussionist, Erwin Vindl who plays the surdo and buk.
In May 2005 Bernhard Kowatsch (Guitar, Synthesizer) left the band.
In Juni 2005 Alexander Kunchev became the third Percussionist of Comin & Goin .
